Over The Years

Many years back, there was a Barma mansion, in
the village of Ghaatan, which housed the substantial
Barma joint family of the wealthy landlord, Karori Lal.
Ghaatan village and its inhabitants, seemed a remnant
of the ancient past, as instead of modernity, it reeked of
rigid conformity to obsolete traditions and customs.
