Brilliant Idiots” by Rungeen Singh highlights the deep irony of how the most brilliant human species have acted unintelligently toward their own habitat. In the pursuit of science and technology, humans ignored the damage continually corroding the Earth. True progress would have mattered only if we had not pushed the planet toward global warming, threatening the basics needed for life to thrive. We have bitten the very hand that nourished us — yet “Brilliant Idiots” reminds us that there is still time to redeem ourselves and let the Earth breathe again
