This is a story about a woman who evolves from timidity to confidence and learns to face life and people as well as discover her own strengths against all social odds. She tries to bring up her daughter without transferring her fears. On the other hand she guides the daughter to think and then feel so that the daughter can be her own person. This book also shows that there should be gender equality, and a personality will be more balanced if the best of feminity is amalgamated with the best of masculinity. Thus every individual becomes strong, kind and always the objective should be not to harm others. Moreover, all should make it a point to place the nation before the individual and work for the benefit of the country which indirectly would provide harmony, peace, unity and happiness amongst its citizens.
