This book focusses on inculcating a feeling of patriotism and national pride and also gives information about India and specially the Republic Day parade. Along with this it highlights that the children should be encouraged to be good citizens and brave soldiers for the country so that they not only preserve the moral fibre of our country but are also ready to take on personal risks for the benefit of other people and the country. It dissuades children to humiliate others.     Rungeen Singh

    She holds an M.A. in English Literature (1970) and an LLB (1971), and has over 50 years of experience teaching English to children and adults. Since 1992, she has written 800+ articles, stories, and poems, over 200 children’s books, and 15 novels for young adults. A life member of AWIC, she has won multiple national awards, including CBT’s All India Prizes and honors from Tinkle, Family Magazine, and Femina–Aahat. Her work has been published internationally, with one story translated into Japanese and several featured in Atlanta-based publications. Many of her books have appeared on HT Neilson’s Best Seller list, often ranking above renowned authors like Ruskin Bond.
