Happy Singh is happy as it is his birthday. He was unable to decide what gift to take when his parents asked him. Eventually he said he wanted to know more about Earth and who else but his Granny to to tell him all about it. So Granny came and what all she told him about the formation of the Earth and the continents was the best birthday gift he got.
She holds an M.A. in English Literature (1970) and an LLB (1971), and has over 50 years of experience teaching English to children and adults. Since 1992, she has written 800+ articles, stories, and poems, over 200 children’s books, and 15 novels for young adults. A life member of AWIC, she has won multiple national awards, including CBT’s All India Prizes and honors from Tinkle, Family Magazine, and Femina–Aahat. Her work has been published internationally, with one story translated into Japanese and several featured in Atlanta-based publications. Many of her books have appeared on HT Neilson’s Best Seller list, often ranking above renowned authors like Ruskin Bond.
