This story shows the paradox of the difficulties faced by simple minded people but their propensity of finding solutions with their simplicity belie their difficulties. The paradox is also between the innocent interpretation of complex confusions when the grey cell are not attuned to work to their optimum. At times the simple minded may be pitied but actually they remain happy in their less illuminated world. Dumbo's exploits display this paradox.
